SoxSpects: Red Sox Top 10 prospects
James Gravley’s latest installment of the Top 10 prospects in the system

When you look deep into the prospect portal, and when you rank prospects, what’s the number one thing you take into consideration? Is it age? Performance? The level that the said prospect is playing? Or all the above? For me, it’s all the above. I take into consideration of all things — age, level of play, hot/cold streaks.
Gravley’s Top 10 Red Sox prospects:
Rafaela has jolted into my Top 10 over the past couple of weeks and officially made it in, over Miguel Bleis, who’s ranked inside my Top 15.
Mayer, Casas, and Bello stay the same. There’s no change in the top three and likely won’t be anytime soon.
In the middle is Yorke, Duran and Mata. Mata can easily jump both, especially if Duran spends the rest of the season in the majors — but we know what will likely happen there.
Jordan, Groome, and Seabold rank out six through nine. These three will more than likely stick in the same spots unless they have an upwards leap like Rafaela has through two leagues this season.
