The hardest part about being a baseball scout is to watch a player in person game after game and as you sit there watching him hit, run, throw, field and how he does all of those things and at the end of the day are you watching someone who is playing the best he’ll ever be or are you watching somebody who has the overall ability to get better. The players that the TampaTool has been sending to Boston left their best at the A, AA and Worcester level or better yet they left it at the organization he got them from.

Just out of principle I would not trust any baseball player who has the last name of Cespedes with a contract that exceeds the minimum salary.
