Such poor journalism! Big headline, poorly presented opinion. This entire piece is baseless, other than fan opinion and “just a gut feeling.” Just as we Sox fans deserve a better product and results on the field, your readers deserve better, too.
I do appreciate that you read the content. Not everyone will always agree with what’s written and that’s ok. The information from the piece is based off Pete Abe’s Boston Globe article on Saturday. If anyone writes anything based off that, it’ll mostly lhave an opinion in the piece at some point.
As much as Cora makes some bone head moves I think he’s done an admiral job to get more with less . Bloom is trying to build the farm to build the future, but going into the season without a shortstop was just stupidity and it’s plagued the team all year. Jose’ Iglesias would have been perfect til Story came back or perhaps a trade deadline acquisition. Bloom has much more to prove than Cora does !
I don't think that Cora is the problem; quite the opposite. He's done a good job with a roster of no-names for the most part. How about swapping positions and letting Bloom manage on the field and let Cora make the acquisitions? If one looks at Bloom's past performance, what has he done other than paring the roster. Next thing you know, he'll be looking to re-sign Willy Mo Pena or giving Daubec a long-term contract.

if it comes down to it, the wrong one is going if it's cora
Your absolutely right it's not Cora who should go
It should be Bloom

Keep Cora. Change General Manager.
