Watch the trailer: Tom Brady to be roasted live in an unedited and uncensored Netflix special on May 5
Tom Brady is set to be roasted live in an unedited and uncensored Netflix special next month.
The Greatest Roast of All Time, or GROAT, will be hosted by Kevin Hart on May 5, and it’ll start at 5 p.m. A new trailer was released on Monday morning with a simple premise for the show.
“The man, the arena,” read Hart as the narrator. “The roast of Tom Brady, live on Netflix. No helmets, no mercy, no ‘Brady rule.’”
The special will be the first live roast held on the streaming platform. It will also feature classic roaster Jeff Ross and a lineup of other surprise guests.
“I’m un-roastable,” Brady claims at the end of the trailer, which Ross and other roasters will certainly prove to be false.
Netflix vice president of stand-up and comedy Robbie Praw says that the platform “can’t wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL in order to delay this roast.”
