Taylor Hall was back on the ice practicing at Warrior Ice Arena this week
Boston Bruins forward Taylor Hall suffered an upper body injury against the Philadelphia Flyers last week. Hall was initially listed as week-to-week with his injury but is trying to be ready for the season opener against the Capitals.
The forward has been practicing at Warrior Ice Arena this week and on Friday he skated in a non-contact jersey. Despite being back on the ice with his teammates, that is no guarantee he will be ready for the season opener.
“Well, he’s not in contact yet, so right now I don’t have an answer for that,” head coach Jim Montgomery said to reporters at practice on Friday.
With Hall’s injury, the Bruins debuted their Czech line against the Rangers. The line of Pavel Zacha, David Pastrnak and David Krejci showed immediate chemistry producing eight points in the win at Madison Square Garden.
Will Montgomery keep the Zacha with the newly formed line together?
“The opportunity for the growth in his game is high,” Montgomery told reporters. “I would like to get him settled on a line as quickly as possibly so that we can see more growth in his game.”
