Bruins new Czech line showed instant chemistry together
Pavel Zacha, David Krejci and David Pastrnak looked impressive playing together for the first time on Wednesday night. The trio combined for eight points in the 5-4 win over the Rangers.
The Czech trio scored three goals, one goal each. Zacha and Pastrnak had two assists while Krejci had one.
Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery put the trio together after Taylor Hall went down with an upper-body injury. Montgomery admitted to reporters that once Hall went down, he immediately thought of putting the three players together. The trio instantly clicked and showed chemistry leaving Bruins fans wanting to see more in the coming games.
“It was pretty impressive. Just the chemistry they seem to have right away was good,” Montgomery said about his new line. “They made a lot of plays in all three zones that led to goals.”
It remains to be seen whether or not this line will stay together after Hall comes back. Until then, the trio looks poised to put up offense for Montgomery.
