Red Sox prospect has sore wrist, missed last four Arizona Fall League games
Nick Yorke has been sizzling for the Scottsdale Scorpions since the Arizona Fall League started. Unfortunately, the Red Sox top prospect has missed the last four games with a sore wrist, per WEEI’s Rob Bradford.

Yorke who has been leading the AFL with seven doubles and has been hitting .328 at the dish.
The 20-year-old has also posted a .434 on-base percentage, .492 slugging percentage, .926 OPS, hit one homer, 15 RBIs, 12 strikeouts, 12 walks and 15 runs in 16 games.
Yorke’s play during the AFL has been the complete opposite of what his 2022 season. The California native finished the season in Greenville with a .232 average and 94 strikeouts, Yorke has been an on-base machine for the Scorpions.

“I’m just trying to put the ball in play as much as I can,” Yorke said of his mindset from the top of the order. “Good things happen when you put it into play.”
Yorke’s wrist injury isn’t considered to be anything major and is expected back in the lineup in the coming days.
