The Alabama native’s wife is from Massachusetts and spends the offseason in Winchester. In an interview with MassLive last July, Kluber spoke highly of Boston and Fenway Park.
“I think it’s an awesome city. I think it’s a great place,” said the veteran righty. “During the summer time, during baseball season, it’s hard to find a better place. I enjoy going there as a visitor. Fenway is one of, if not my favorite park in the big leagues. Just the environment, the history of it, all that sort of stuff. I just think it’s a very cool place.”

If Boston were to add Kluber, he would join Chris Sale, James Paxton, Nick Pivetta, James Paxton, Brayan Bello and possibly Garrett Whitlock as options for the rotation.

I think its quite odd to be this far into free-agency without a single club making a splash in the water.. Seems unusual 🤔
