Red Sox fans were asked a question on Twitter about what changes need to be made to turn things around. The responses were unfiltered, from the hear and honest.
Lets face it, the Red Sox have a lineup that could potentially be dangerous for opponents. It’s been anything but that. Sitting at 10-19 on the year, the Red Sox have one series win. What is worse about that is the Reds, who only have five wins on the year also have one series win.
Calling up Jarren Duran, then demoting him back to Worcester isn’t the right move. Calling up Franchy Cordero has been the right move so far. However, Boston needs to do something with Bobby Dalbec. And the signing of Carlos Martínez after one outing hasn’t showed any glimpses of hope for the Red Sox faithful.
A change needs to happen. Don’t just rely on the trade market, or value of prospects for highly-graded pitchers for just one season. Get the young guys up, trust them to do the job and build around them.
