Also, I met a guy who was operated on just after Nomar's wrist had been operated on. The guy was an Angel farmhand in the 60's, became a Harvard educated Attorney, so he has some credibility, and he said the Orthopedic Doctor who operated on Nomar's wrist told him, "Nomar's not going to be the same. His wrist just won't let him be the Nomar you've known the last 8 years." Think about that. Perhaps the Front Office knew, but didn't want to diminish Nomar's trade value. Perhaps that's why they took the offer off of the table; which, as we saw, led to all of those things Lou shared with us. I met Nomar in '99. Very gracious, but I would have loved for him to have remained healthy. What a hitter
