Jaylen Brown drops 36, Jayson Taum has 33 as the Celtics win big over the Wizards, 126-107
Jaylen Brown nailed eight threes on 15 shots along side Jayson Tatum’s 14-21(67%) as the duo combined for 69 points during Boston’s victory in our nations capital.
It was never truly competitive to begin with after the Celtics had 42 first quarter points. Brown scored 27 first-half points which is a career high and at one point Boston led by 37 points.
The Celtics starters combined for 100 points over three quarters, none of them played the 4th quarter.Brown hit his final basket midway through the third quarter with the Celtics pulling away.
The Porzingis’ over 19.5 points didn’t hit, which was a tough one to swallow after he had 10 points in the first quarter and didn’t play the 4th. Porzingis scored 15 points total in his return to Washington.
Celtics (3-0) will host the Pacers (2-1) at TD Garden on November 1st as Boston looks to remain undefeated.
