'59 Topps Friday Cards 380-386: Hank Aaron, Baseball's Longtime Homer King and Face of Perseverance
We built the iconic 1959 Topps baseball set, and in this series, we’re going through every card to talk about the players, teams and people who made up major league baseball in 1959. Today, we’ll cover cards 380 through 386 in the set.
This includes Henry "Hammerin' Hank" Aaron, for many years baseball's all-time home run king. He hit 755 homers and broke Babe Ruth's record in the face of racial threats. But he persevered and set many of the sport's all-time records. We honor his life and legacy this week.
