Red Sox infielder Yu Chang continues to make noise with his bat in the World Baseball Classic.
On Saturday morning with the game tied 1-1 in the bottom of the second inning, Chang crushed a huge grand slam against the Netherlands.
The grand slam ignited the fans into jubilation in Taichung, Taiwan.
Chang’s blast hasn’t been the only one he has connected for in the WBC. Chinese Taipei played on Friday against Team Italy and Chang hit a key home run to pace his team to victory.
With Chinese Taipei down 7-5 in the bottom of sixth, Chang crushed a two-run homer to the opposite field to tie the game.
Chinese Taipei defeated Italy on Friday 11-7, Chang had that homer and a double with two RBIs.
