Who was the emergency quarterback behind Bailey Zappe on Sunday?
The Patriots lost to the Packers on Sunday, dropping to 1-3 on the season. New England had started Brian Hoyer because of Mac Jones high ankle sprain.
Hoyer would go down in the game with a head injury and rookie Bailey Zappe was called upon to run the offense.
The buzz around social media while the game was being played was who would back up Zappe if he was hurt?
According to Albert Breer on NBC Sports Boston’s Sports Sunday, it was tight end Hunter Henry.
The prized free agent signing last season has been a complete non-factor on the offense this season.
“Sometimes it can look like we didn’t do anything, but sometimes we’re running to spots, opening guys up, doing different things like that,” Henry said on WEEI. “It’s a complete team game on offense. We need everybody in the right spots, especially on all different routes, and they all correlate. They all work together.”
The Little Rock native has five catches on nine targets for 41 yards.
