In the 1990s, I collected baseball cards with the help of his family and my collection stretches back to the 1940s. Here, we look at the first 9 cards in our collection, including cards from Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Gil Hodges, Brooks Robinson and Johnny Mize as well as Walt Dropo's rookie card.
I talk about 1950s Bowmans, the 1968 Topps Game set, and the groundbreaking 1959 Fleer Ted Williams set.
