On this episode, Red Sox two-way prospect Conrad Cason joins the show. Conrad talks growing up in Atlanta, being mentored by Kristian Campbell, behind the scenes of being a two-way player, his love for Cracker Barrel & more!
How did Conrad land on baseball and pursuing it professionally?
“It actually took me a while to decide, I guess you could say. I put down track after my seventh grade year middle school, and then I continued playing basketball in my eighth grade year, football in my eighth grade year, as well as baseball. And then my freshman year high school, after that season was over, I kind of sat down with my dad and I kind of just, we talked about what we wanted to do or what I wanted to do, and it ultimately came down to just focusing solely on baseball and kind of, I would say it worked out for the best.”
