On Episode 243 of The Pesky Report (Presented by Beyond the Monster), it’s another edition of Minors Talk, where we discuss all the latest happenings in the Boston Red Sox minor league system.

This week the gang is back together with Derrik Maguire, Hunter Noll and myself (Jake T. O’Donnell) bringing you the latest Minors Talk takes.

We start in Portland where Shane Drohan is making a huge impression. What does history tell us about how long he’ll be in AA? We also go over Nick Yorke’s deceptively good start to the season, Brian Van Belle killing it and the Sea Dogs’ solid bullpen.

Then we move over to Worcester for Chris Murphy’s much-needed strong start and the merits of calling up Enmanuel Valdez vs. David Hamilton. Then, Hunter REALLY needed to get something off his chest about Greenville’s series in Greensboro before we talk about Angel Bastardo’s sterling outing and Marcelo Mayer doing Marcelo Mayer stuff.
