What is it like for a college baseball player the day of the MLB draft? For Payton Tolle, he had a ton going through his head, where was he going to be drafted Whether it was a good or a bad day for him, he celebrated by having Spaghetti Sunday with his family.
“You know, talking with my agent and hearing from coaches and that like we knew it was somewhere around that second, third round. Not quite sure if it was going to be first day, second day, but, you know, it was just no idea what's going to happen. Like this is a decision that's going to change a lot of things.
“Like, is it going to be Arizona? Is it going to be Florida? I mean, there's just a lot of things that went into it. We tried to take it as normal as a Sunday as possible. We had Spaghetti Sunday, we do it every, me, my dad, my brother, do it every Sunday. And we had a couple of family members over, had some family friends over. And there's like, it's Spaghetti Sunday.”
