It was reported on Monday that Bobby Dalbec was optioned to Triple-A Worcester along Jorge Alfaro.

Dalbec and Alfaro both were vying to make the Opening Day roster for the Red Sox, but will need to make their way back into the big league clubhouse from Worcester.

Jorge Alfaro will remain with the Red Sox, he will be optioned to Triple-A. Bobby Dalbec will also be sent to Worcester, per @bradfo.

The next roster move is for the final outfield spot, which is between Raimel Tapia and Jarren Duran, and the final bullpen spot.

Some roster decisions have been made. Chang beats out Dalbec for final spot in infield. Bobby going to Worcester. Alfaro will go to Worcester. Wong is the backup C. Two decisions left. Tapia vs. Duran and final spot in the bullpen.

Tapia has had a better spring with two home runs and seven RBI with three stolen bases while Duran has one homer, one RBI and one stolen base. Tapia has 41 at-bats while Duran has 14 at-bats.
