About a month ago, the Tigers called up Roger Clemens 26-year-old son, Kody Clemens. Since his call up Clemens has only played in 16 games.
Upon his call up, Clemens elected to wear No. 21, like his father. Tigers fans were able to see Clemens on the bump down by 11 runs in mop up relief. A fun moment for the Clemens family since his big league promotion.
The young infielder has already gotten his first big league hit. His dad tweeted in excitement following the huge moment for Kody.
The Clemens family can now add another accolade under their belt.
The younger No. 21 connected on his first home run of his MLB career on Saturday night. Clemens crushed a three-run bomb off Diamondbacks pitcher Joe Mantiply.
The homer gave the Tigers a 6-3 lead.
