Rob Refsnyder crushes a homer over the Green Monster, ball smashes car window
When Chaim Bloom signed utilityman Rob Refsnyder to a minor-league deal this offseason, it went completely under the radar. Like most minor-league deals, the odds that player makes a huge impact on the team can be rare.
Refsnyder has seized his opportunities in Boston this season.
With Boston trailing New York 3-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning on Saturday, Refsnyder hit a moonshot solo home run. The solo blast was his third of the season.
His huge homer cleared the Green Monster and the ball landed threw the back window of a parked car on Landsdowne Street.
Draft Kings’ podcaster Jared Carrabis tweeted the video of the smashed car window.

Following the game Carrabis tweeted a picture of the owner with ball standing near his car.
For Refsnyder, the home run comes on the heels of a 4-for-5 night in Friday’s loss to the Yankees.
This season, Refsnyder is hitting .344 with three homers, 22 hits, five doubles, 11 RBIs and career high 169 WRC+.
