Report: Thomas Pannone leaving the Red Sox organization
Pannone is heading to the Korean Baseball League
According to Joe McDonald of the Worcester Telegram, WooSox pitcher Thomas Pannone is leaving the Boston Red Sox organization and will sign with the KIA Tigers of the Korean Baseball League.

Pannone, 28, was signed by the Red Sox in March of this year. Prior to joining the Red Sox organization he pitched for the Angels Triple-A affiliate Salt Lake Bees where he owned a 5-11 record, 7.07 ERA in 118 innings of work and held a 1.69 WHIP in 24 games, including 21 starts.
Pannone appeared in 14 games with the WooSox this season and owned a 5-3 record, 4.57 ERA in 63 innings of work and recorded 70 strikeouts with a 1.25 WHIP.
Pannone last pitched for the WooSox on June 22 where he worked five and two thirds innings allowing no runs on four hits and struck out seven.
