According to Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline, the Boston Red Sox and fifth-round selection Noah Dean have reached an agreement.

Callis states that the deal is worth $325,000, which is under the slot.
Scouting reports from Dean’s high school state that he can reach 100 from time to time on his fastball.
