Phillies’ Kyle Schwarber doesn’t ‘give a s—t’ about team being no-hit in the World Series
The Philadelphia Phillies were no-hit on Wednesday night by the Houston Astros during Game 4 of the World Series. Kyle Schwarber was asked what it was like being on the other end of the no-hitter and wasn’t shy about voicing his opinion.
“I really don’t give a s–t,” Schwarber said when asked about being the second team to be no-hit in the World Series. “Nope. Move on tomorrow. We’ll be in the history books, I guess.”
Astros’ right Cristian Javier was one of four pitchers involved in the second no-hitter tossed in the Fall Classic.
Bryan Abreu, Rafael Montero and Ryan Pressly were the other pitchers from the Astros who were part of history. The Astros no-hitter was the first since 1956 when Yankees’ Don Larsen threw a Perfect Game.
Schwarber was one of three Phillies who did manage to reach base via a base on balls.
Kyle from Waltham is hitting .231 in the World Series with one home run and two RBIs with an .831 OPS.
