Pedro Castellanos stays hot for the Portland Sea Dogs
The Red Sox prospect extends hitting streak
Pedro Castellanos has now hit safely in his last 12 games for the Red Sox Double-A affiliate Portland Sea Dogs.
On Saturday night Castellanos went two-for-two with two RBI in the Sea Dogs 4-0 win over Harrisburg.
He now has 27 RBI on the year. During the 12 game hitting streak, Castellanos has four home runs and 15 RBI.
Devlin Granberg went three-for-four with and RBI and two runs scored in the win.
Combined, the Sea Dogs pitching staff had 10 strikeouts on the evening.
Dylan Spacke went four innings with four strikeouts and four hits in his second start of the year. He lowered his ERA to 2.41.
Oddanier Mosqueda worked two innings out of relief allowing a hit and striking out four, he also earned the win, his first of the year.
The other two strikeouts on the evening came from Zach Bryant and Frank German who each had one a piece.
Portland looks to win its second straight game on Sunday against Harrisburg with a regular scheduled Monday off day before starting a six-game series with Somerset.
