Patriots list key players as limited
The first injury report of the NFL season has been released. For the Patriots they list multiple starters as limited participants:
OT- Trent Brown Illness
G Cole Strange- Knee
OL- Mike Onwenu- Ankle
CB- Jack Jones- Hamstring
WR- Devante Parker- Knee
Jack Jones, is listed with a hamstring injury, was cleared of his gun charges stemming from his Logan Airport incident this offseason on Tuesday.
In terms of further disciplinary action from the league Bill Belichick would not comment on that with the media this morning. “I’m not gonna get into that. Talk to the league, see what they have to say.”
For New England to have three starting offensive lineman limited is far from ideal. The Patriots did not have their full starting unit all preseason either. With facing an elite pass rush of the Philadelphia Eagles in the first week, Mac Jones could be headed into a game facing constant pressure.
