Niko Kavadas promoted and stays hot with Greenville
Kavadas has done it again, hits his first homer with Greenville
Niko Kavadas, along with his teammate in Salem, Nathan Hickey, were promoted to High-A Greenville on Friday and less than 24 hours later, Kavadas has made more noise with his new teammates.
Kavadas has made a name for himself with the Red Sox organization in the month of the June where he hit 10 home runs in Low-A Salem.
Kavadas did however hit homers on June 1, June 3, June 8, and June 14, but didn’t really start getting hot until June 16 where he hit homers in three consecutive games from the 16th to the 18th. He did not homer on June 19, but he did have another three consecutive game where he homered from June 21 to June 23 with Salem.
On Friday, he homered in his debut for the Greenville Drive, making it four consecutive games in a row where the power hefty lefty sent a ball over the fence.

For the longest time, we here at Beyond the Monster, have been calling for Kavadas to earn the promotion and finally it has happened.
Don’t expect Kavadas to stay in Greenville long if he keeps blasting balls over the fence at the rate he was doing in Low-A Salem.
