Marcelo Mayer hit his fifth home run in three-hit game for the Low-A Salem Red Sox on Saturday night.
Mayer got his first hit with a single to right field. His fifth homer came in the sixth inning to right field. He then collected his third hit of the game with a grounder to left field.

He also stole his ninth base of the year.
Mayer now owns a slash line of .276/.356/.876 on the year for Salem. He also has collected 24 RBI along with 19 free passes along the way.
