Red Sox Outfielder Jarren Duran is conceded to day-to-day after he suffered a left toe contusion during Boston’s 6-5 win over the Yankees on Sunday afternoon.
Duran was removed after his at-bat in the eighth inning following crashing into the wall attempting to rob a solo homer from Yankees’ Gleyber Torres during the sixth inning.
Rob Refsnyder replaced Duran in the bottom of the eighth inning.

The club is reportedly not flying anyone to Houston to be part of the taxi squad, per MassLive’s Christopher Smith.
Over the last five games, Duran is 4-for-16 with one double, one walk, one stole base and four strikeouts with a .313 slugging percentage.
Recently, Duran has posted content on his social media to indicate he was struggling with his mental health.
“We are aware of it and we talked to the player. We’ll keep it private,” Alex Cora said during the Nationals series. “I think he took a huge step last year when he opened up [in an interview late last year] about his situation, how he felt. … I saw the [recent social media] message, but we’ll keep it private and we’ll keep talking to the player and he’ll be ready to play.”
The 26-year-old has a build a strong support system amongst his teammates, couches and staff that can help him during any struggles he may encounter.
Duran is enjoying a great season batting .295 with a .346 on-base percentage, .482 slugging percentage and .828 OPS in 102 games.
