Former Red Sox first baseman Eric Hosmer puts Newton mansion on the market
Former Red Sox first baseman Eric Hosmer didn’t have too long of a stay in a Boston uniform. He did, however, own one of the nicest homes in the area.
The Hosmer’s bought the Newton estate in September of 2022, which features six bedrooms, seven total bathrooms, and 8,081 square feet of living space. The house is listed at $6,575,000. Just seven months ago, the couple bought the home for about $6.15 million.
Included in the house are a fitness room and a pretty cool wine cellar. The home also features a room called “The Snow Globe Room” which might be the first time I have ever heard of something like that.
For more photos and information about the home, check out the Boston Magazine article.
