Ryan Fitzgerald had another stellar game for the WooSox, while Connor Seabold held the fort down on the mound in the clubs, 5-4 win over Toledo.
Fitzgerald hit his 12th home run of the year. His three-run shot came in the fifth inning. On the evening he went one-for-four with a run scored and drove in three.
Fitzgerald 12 home runs and 47 RBI leads the WooSox.
Seabold managed to work six innings allowing a run on six hits while walking one and striking out four on the evening.
Seabold now has 49 strikeouts over 50.2 innings of work for the WooSox this year.
It’s hard to tell when Fitzgerald will get a promotion, but like others in the farm, you can’t hold them down for long.
