Hello and welcome to the 2025–26 edition of the tracker!
If you’re unfamiliar with how this all started way back in 2018— Yahoo Sports used to publish a comprehensive list of nearly every MLB free agent each offseason. I looked forward to it every year — their rankings, insights, and commentary on everyone from star players to random third-string catchers.
For whatever reason, that long, detailed list eventually disappeared, replaced by shorter rundowns focused on the top fifty or so free agents. Most major outlets have since followed suit.
It’s an understandable change — after all, there’s not much difference between who’s ranked #122 and who’s #133 — but I missed the coverage of those lesser-known names. Putting together and organizing that information myself has become something I genuinely enjoy.
As in past years, my goal is to track 300 players. If someone you’re looking for isn’t here yet, don’t worry — I’ll be adding new names every day until we hit that mark.
From the fall through the start of the 2026 season, I’ll be covering every free agent signing. If you like what you see, I’d recommend bookmarking the page for daily updates. You can also follow me on Twitter at @EdHand89.
A huge thank-you to Shawn Palmer for his outstanding graphic design work.

1. Kyle Tucker- OF
Age: 29
Career bWAR: 27.3
2025 bWAR: 4.5
2025 Team: Chicago Cubs
Profile: Five-tool player had something of a rough second half mostly due to injury. Still put up a strong .841 OPS (.266/.377/.464) over 597 PA while joining the 20/20 club for the third time in his career (22 HR/25 SB). Impressive command of the strike zone to go with the rest of his tools. This is a guy who will be valuable with the bat long after his physical prime. High ceiling/high floor. Easily the best of this year’s class.

2. Bo Bichette- SS
Age: 28
Career bWAR: 20.8
bWAR: 3.4
2025 Team: Toronto Blue Jays
Profile: Tremendous rebound after the worst season of his career in 2024. Ripped 44 doubles and 18 homers while driving in 94 runs and slashing .311/.357/.483. Doesn’t strike out much, doesn’t walk a ton, doesn’t steal bases, mediocre defender. The bat-to-ball plus power at a premium position is a lethal combination, however, and given his relatively young age and pedigree, he well may be the most coveted infielder available. Health was still a question as he finished the season on the IL and missed a good amount of the playoffs.

3. Cody Bellinger- OF
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 30.4
2025 bWAR: 5.0
2025 Team: New York Yankees
Profile: Betting on himself and putting plenty of opt-outs in a short-term contract paid off for the 2019 NL MVP but a long-term extension still escapes him. Five-tool player who hits homers without striking out too much, he’ll steal a base here and there and play solid defense in center field or even first base. Slashed .272/.334/.480 with 29 homers, 13 stolen bases and 98 RBI over 656 PA in 2025, perhaps proving once and for all that the injuries that plagued him in 2021 and 2022 are firmly in the rearview mirror.
RE-SIGNED- New York Yankees, $162.5 million/5 years (opt outs after years 2 + 3), 1/21
4. Kyle Schwarber- OF
Age: 33
Career bWAR: 19.9
2025 bWAR: 4.7
2025 Team: Philadelphia Phillies
Profile: Three true outcomes up the wazoo with this guy. An absolute monster in 2025, the left-handed slugger smoked an NL leading 56 homers with an MLB leading 132 RBI while playing in all 162 games for the Phillies this season. Tied his career high OPS at .928 from 2021 but with far more total plate appearances. The best pure power hitter on the market and a proven winner coming off a career year.

5. Alex Bregman- 3B
Age: 32
Career bWAR: 43.1
2025 bWAR: 3.5
2025 Team: Boston Red Sox
Profile: It was a tale of two seasons. Bregman looked like his former self, setting the world ablaze in his first couple of months with the club. A quad injury took him out for about two months and never really returned to form. All the same, his .821 OPS was still the highest of his career since 2019 as he slashed a perfectly respectable .273/.360/.462 with 18 homers and 51 BB/70 K in the heart of the Red Sox lineup. Probably no longer an MVP candidate but a very good player and potential all-star with strong intangibles all the same. Injuries remain the biggest risk with him as is often the case with players on the wrong side of thirty.
SIGNED- Chicago Cubs, $175 million/5 years, 1/10
6. Ranger Suarez- SP (L)
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 18.1
2025 bWAR: 4.7
2025 Team: Philadelphia Phillies
Profile: Quietly a very reliable pitcher for the Phillies since 2021, his 2025 season was more of the same- 3.20 ERA, 3.21 FIP, 1.220 WHIP, 151 K/38 BB, 157.1 IP. The innings total is actually the highest of his career which says a lot about his lack of durability. He’s on the smaller size and has long dealt with back injuries, which is preferable to elbow injuries but still something to keep an eye on. Very solid, underrated pitcher.

7. Framber Valdez- SP (L)
Age: 32
Career bWAR: 18.8
2025 bWAR: 3.8
2025 Team: Houston Astros
Profile: Has been very good for a while now. The last four seasons, the Dominican lefty has thrown 175 or more innings (three of which he went over 190) with an ERA no lower than 2.82 or higher than 3.66 (which occurred in 2025). A 3.31 FIP says the ERA fluctuation is probably just the result of worse luck. Plenty of strikeouts and good but not great control make him as effective a workhorse as you’re gonna get. Some concerns regarding makeup, clubhouse influence after an unpleasant incident in which he intentionally tried to drill his own catcher.

8. Michael King- SP (R)
Age: 31
Career bWAR: 10.8
2025 bWAR: 1.2
2025 Team: San Diego Padres
Profile: Injuries cost him a much bigger contract than he will likely get. Only made 15 starts (73.1 IP) due to shoulder and then knee inflammation. His ERA went up to 3.44, his highest since 2021, and a 4.42 FIP implies that it could have been a lot worse. There’s definitely some risk here- he only has two seasons with 100+ innings and just one over 150. All the same, the ceiling is high enough for him to be a legitimate top of the rotation arm, something that has become increasingly rare to become available in free agency.

9. Pete Alonso- 1B
Age: 31
Career bWAR: 23.3
2025 bWAR: 3.1
2025 Team: New York Mets
Profile: The Polar Bear didn’t end up with the kind of deal he hoped for last year and ended up returning to the Mets on a short-term basis. For the second consecutive season he played in all 162 games and improved on just about every offensive number slashing .272/.347/.571 with a league leading 41 doubles, 38 homers, and 126 RBI. His .871 OPS was the second highest of his career. While there are some concerns about his defense (career low -1.8 dWAR in 2025) this is the kind of right-handed power bat teams are fine with sticking at DH if needed.
SIGNED- Baltimore Orioles, $155 million/5 Years, 12/10
10. Gleyber Torres- 2B
Age: 29
Career bWAR: 18.7
2025 bWAR: 2.9
2025 Team: Detroit Tigers
Profile: Settled for a $15 mil/1 year deal after a disappointing 2024 and it paid off as he ended up starting the All-Star game for the American League although he probably wished the second half went a little better. The power numbers never quite returned to what they were when he was considered an up-and-coming superstar, but 22 doubles/16 homers is perfectly respectable coming out of your second baseman. Most impressively his already solid walk numbers increased while his strikeouts decreased from 65 BB/136 K in 2024 to 85 BB/101 K in 2025 despite having less plate appearance, indicative of an improving command of the strike zone. A solid addition to any lineup at a position not known for its offensive potency.

11. Dylan Cease- SP (R)
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 16.9
2025 bWAR: 1.1
2025 Team: San Diego Padres
Profile: Strikeout machine’s peripherals paint a much better picture than his bottom line. In 2025, Cease went 8-12 with a 4.55 ERA and 1.327 WHIP. He walked 71 while striking out 215 over 168 innings (32 starts). The K/9 rate was an MLB best 11.5 and a 3.56 FIP, almost exactly a full point lower than his ERA, indicating that he was on the receiving end of some pretty bad luck. Picked a bad time to have statistically the worst full season of his career but teams will nonetheless be lining up to get him into their pitching lab and the frontend of their rotation.

2025 Team: New York Mets
Profile: Elite of elite closer fully returned to form with a 1.63 ERA over 66.1 IP, 28 saves, 98 K/21 BB, and a 0.874 WHIP. Relievers are always volatile, but this is about as safe a bet as you’re going to find. Electric.

13. JT Realmuto- C
Age: 35
Career bWAR: 38.8
2025 bWAR: 2.6
2025 Team: Philadelphia Phillies
Profile: Starting to get up there in age but still a very solid catcher on both sides of the ball. Has been able to stay remarkably healthy for his 12-year career (for a catcher) and even though further regression is likely, he’s still better than a good two thirds of the league’s backstops. Experience starting catchers of his pedigree are rare finds on the free agency market.
RE-SIGNED- Philadelphia Phillies, $45 million/3 years, 1/16
14. Josh Naylor- 1B
Age: 28
Career bWAR: 8.4
2025 bWAR: 3.1
2025 Team: Arizona Diamondbacks + Seattle Mariners
Profile: Picked a great time to have the best season of his career, launching 20 homers with 92 RBI and a slash line of .292/.353/.462 over 604 PA with both Arizona and Seattle. Doesn’t strike out much for a bulky first baseman and even added stolen bases to his skillset this year, surprisingly going 30-for-32 on attempts (his previous career high was 10). Underrated middle-of-the-order bat.
RE-SIGNED- Seattle Mariners, TBD/5 Years, 11/16
Shota Imanaga- SP (L)
Age: 32
Career bWAR: 4.5
2025 bWAR: 1.5
2025 Team: Chicago Cubs
Profile: The wheels didn’t fall off entirely, but it was definitely a step in the wrong direction for Imanaga who saw his strikeout total go way down and his FIP go up by about a run. When all was said and done, it was still a perfectly solid season but nowhere near as good as his rookie campaign which saw him finish fifth in Cy Young voting- 25 starts, 144.2 IP, 3.73 ERA, 4.86 FIP, 0.988 WHIP, 117 K/26 BB. His command and ability to keep runners off base gives him a nice floor, but the fact that he averaged almost two home runs per nine innings is certainly something to note for teams that play in a smaller sized ballpark.

16. Zac Gallen- SP (R)
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 20.8
2025 bWAR: 1.1
2025 Team: Arizona Diamondbacks
Profile: Weird season. Threw 192 innings, the second highest of his career, but was far more hittable than he’s been in any season of his career with a career high 4.83 ERA with a FIP of 4.51 saying that his mediocrity wasn’t just a product of bad fortune. A team will almost certainly give him good money to try and bring him back to his past form when he was a yearly Cy Young candidate but now on the wrong side of 30, Gallen may have to reassess his arsenal and try something a little different as the aging process starts to get a little more noticeable.

17. Brandon Woodruff- SP (R)
Age: 33
Career bWAR: 18.6
2025 bWAR: 1.3
2025 Team: Milwaukee Brewers
Profile: High risk/high reward incarnate. Was excellent in his return after a lost 2024 season- 12 GS, 64.2 IP, 83 K/14 BB, 3.20 ERA, 0.912 WHIP. This is on par with his career numbers but unfortunately he’s approaching his mid-30s and injuries the likes of which he’s dealt with the last few seasons aren’t likely to magically get rarer as he ages. Still one of the best in the business when healthy. Approach with caution and plenty of depth.
ACCEPTED QUALIFYING OFFER
18. Luis Arraez- 1B/2B
Age: 29
Career bWAR: 16.5
2025 bWAR: 1.3
2025 Team: San Diego Padres
Profile: Polarizing. Perhaps the best contact hitter of his generation, Arraez does things that no other players do with the bat. Consistently walks more than he strikes out though he rarely does either. He’s led the league in hits the past two years and before that won three consecutive batting titles (with three different teams). His glove isn’t anything special, but he can get by at second or first when needed. A one-tool player to some but that one tool is the most important of the five and his may well be better than anyone’s.
SIGNED- San Francisco Giants, $12 million/1 years, 1/31
19. Eugenio Suarez- 3B
Age: 34
Career bWAR: 26.8
2025 bWAR: 3.6
2025 Team: Arizona Diamondbacks + Seattle Mariners
Profile: In most years, Suarez’s raw power would be prodigious but with Kyle Schwarber and Pete Alonso on the market, he’s something of a bronze medal for those in need of homers. All the same, 49 home runs and a .524 slugging percentage is nothing to sneeze at even if it comes with a .228 AVG, .298 OBP, and 196 strikeouts. Regressed severely after a deadline trade to pitcher’s haven Seattle. The RH power is impressive and very real but can’t be depended on for much else.
SIGNED- Cincinnati Reds, $15 million/1 years, 2/1
20. Tatsuya Imai- SP (R)
Age: 27
Career bWAR: N/A
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: Seibu Lions
Profile: The latest Japanese star rumored to be heading to MLB, he hasn’t had an ERA above 2.50 since 2021 and was especially excellent in 2025, posting a 1.92 ERA over 163.2 innings with an 0.892 WHIP and 178 K/45 BB. This doesn’t mean that he’ll adjust seamlessly to MLB bats, but his arsenal (93 - 96 mph fastball that tops at 99, solid slider, splitter + curveball) and above-average command should give him a decent floor and a ceiling of a #2 or #3. Smaller frame (5’11’, 154 lb) makes for legitimate injury concerns.
SIGNED- Houston Astros, $63 million/3 years (opt out after each year), 1/1
21. Munetaka Murakami- 3B/1B
Age: 26
Career bWAR: N/A
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: Yakult Swallows
Profile: Japanese power hitter is young and has had a lot of success in Japan, most notably his 2022 season in which he hit 56 home runs as a 22-year-old, winning both the Triple Crown and his second consecutive MVP. It’s been somewhat downhill from there as power has gone down and the strikeouts have gone up. 2025 was a step in the right direction as he posted an impressive 1.051 OPS. Unfortunately, he was limited to just 69 games due to an oblique injury. Tough to tell how he’ll adjust to MLB pitching. High risk/high reward.
SIGNED- Chicago White Sox, $34 million/2 years, 12/21
22. Jorge Polanco- 2B/3B
Age: 32
Career bWAR: 20.7
2025 bWAR: 2.6
2025 Team: Seattle Mariners
Profile: Switch-hitter rebounded successfully in his second season with the Mariners after a lost 2024, posting his highest OPS (.821) since 2021 and blasting 30 doubles, 26 homers, and 78 RBI over 524 PA. Seemingly, the key was making more contact. He dropped his strikeouts from 137 to just 82 without sacrificing his ability to work a walk too seriously (46 in 2024 to 42 in 2025). A useful, versatile bat that currently lacks a defensive home, Polanco is much closer to becoming a full-time DH at this point, but he can still play some second base or third base in a pinch.
SIGNED- New York Mets, $40 Million/2 Years, 12/13
23. Zack Littell- SP (R)
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 8.3
2025 bWAR: 3.2
2025 Team: Tampa Bay Rays + Cincinnati Reds
Profile: Surprisingly solid workhorse. The Rays plucked Littell out of obscurity back in 2023 and transformed into one of the more reliable innings eaters in the league since. 2025 was unquestionably his best season as he worked 186.2 innings with 130 K/30 BB and a 3.81 ERA although a 4.88 FIP indicated some luck, particularly prior to his trade to the Reds. Not sexy, not an ace or even a #2 starter, but the kind of grinder contenders need for the 162-game marathon.
24. Merrill Kelly- SP (R)
Age: 37
Career bWAR: 15.8
2025 bWAR: 2.9
2025 Team: Arizona Diamondbacks + Texas Rangers
Profile: Following an injury-filled 2024, the late-blooming Arizona native bounced back in a big way, starting 32 games to the tune of a 3.52 ERA with 164 K/48 BB over 184 innings. He wasn’t quite as good after a deadline trade to Texas but still serviceable even as their playoff chances faded. Useful workhorse. Might not be reasonable to expect quite as many innings but the quality of work has been consistent since he returned from Korea back in 2019.
SIGNED- Arizona Diamondbacks, $40 Million/2 Years, 12/14
Robert Suarez- RP (R)
Age: 35
Career bWAR: 5.8
2025 bWAR: 2.3
2025 Team: San Diego Padres
Profile: Led the NL in saves with 40 and made the All-Star team for the second consecutive season. Very strong numbers- 2.97 ERA, 75 K/16 BB. 0.904 WHIP, 69.1 IP. Only slight concern is his age. Suarez is an excellent leverage option in any bullpen.
SIGNED- Atlanta Braves, $45 Million/3 Years, 12/11
26. Chris Bassitt- SP (R)
Age: 37
Career bWAR: 18.1
2025 bWAR: 2.1
2025 Team: Toronto Blue Jays
Profile: More of the same from the reliable innings eater. He’s certainly not getting any younger, but that didn’t stop him from making 31 starts and tossing 170.1 innings of serviceable 3.96 ERA baseball with 166 K/52 BB. Not sexy at all. Past his prime. Still a very useful starting pitcher for any rotation.
SIGNED- Baltimore Orioles, $18.5 million/1 year, 2/11
27. Trent Grisham- OF
Age: 29
Career bWAR: 14.6
2025 bWAR: 3.5
2025 Team: New York Yankees
Profile: Salvaged his future with a career year. Always an excellent fielder with power but a massively limited hit tool, the mustachioed outfielder still struggled in the batting average arena but managed to improve on his previous output while significantly upping the home run power. When all was said and done, he slashed .233/.348/.464 with a career best 34 home runs and a solid 82 BB/137 K rate. Hard to know if the improvement will stick. Someone will certainly pay to find out.
ACCEPTED QUALIFYING OFFER
28. Tyler Mahle- SP (R)
Age: 31
Career bWAR: 11.1
2025 bWAR: 2.1
2025 Team: Texas Rangers
Profile: Overall a very nice return to form for Mahle, the Reds’ seventh round draft pick back in 2013. He was outstanding when taking the mound in 2025 posting a 2.18 ERA that was somewhat lucky (3.37 FIP) but all the same indicates hitters had a difficult time squaring him up. Unfortunately, he was put on the IL with shoulder fatigue in mid-June and didn’t return until the end of the season totaling just 16 starts and 86.2 IP. He was more of a pitch to contact type with just average control (66 K/29 BB). The upside and results will get him plenty of opportunity, but the injury history is something to be weary of and regression is likely.
SIGNED- San Francisco Giants, $10 million/1 Year, 12/31
Harrison Bader- OF
Age: 32
Career bWAR: 17.3
2025 bWAR: 3.9
2025 Team: Minnesota Twins + Philadelphia Phillies
Profile: Defensive stud put together an outstanding 2025 combining his typically excellent defense with his best offensive numbers while also staying healthy for the second consecutive season- .277/.347/.449, 17 HR, 11 SB, 39 BB/136 K. Underrated difference maker.
SIGNED- San Francisco Giants, $20.5 million/2 years, 1/26
Pete Fairbanks- RP (R)
Age: 32
Career bWAR: 4.8
2025 bWAR: 1.2
2025 Team: Tampa Bay Rays
Profile: Long time Rays closer pitched a career high 60.1 innings in 2025. Fairbanks has frequently dealt with injuries and that does somewhat temper his overall value but the results are undeniable- since 2020, he has a 2.87 ERA and 2.94 FIP over 244.1 IP with 88 saves, and 304 K/88 BB. Approach with some caution but the ability is very much lethal.
SIGNED- Miami Marlins, $14 million/1 years, 12/24
31. Ryan O’Hearn- 1B/OF
Age: 32
Career bWAR: 3.1
2025 bWAR: 2.4
2025 Team: Baltimore Orioles + San Diego Padres
Profile: It was a solid season for the late-blooming O’Hearn, who started the All-Star game at DH for the American League before being sent alongside Ramon Laureano to the Padres at the deadline. He built on a strong 2024 season and posted a .281/.366/.437 slash line with 17 homers and 63 RBI over 544 PA on the season. Not bad at all but given his skillset, one would expect a little more home run power.
SIGNED- Pittsburgh Pirates, $27 million/2 years, 12/23
32. Lucas Giolito- SP (R)
Age: 31
Career bWAR: 14.4
2025 bWAR: 2.1
2025 Team: Boston Red Sox
Profile: Came back from TJS pretty successfully and provided a steady middle-of-the-rotation arm for the Boston Red Sox. Ended up with a solid but not spectacular 3.41 ERA, 1.290 WHIP, 121 K/56 BB over 145 IP. Broke down towards the end of the season. Overall, a nice rebound that should earn him a multi-year deal somewhere.
33. Tyler Rogers- RP (R)
Age: 35
Career bWAR: 9.8
2025 bWAR: 2.4
2025 Team: San Francisco Giants + New York Mets
Profile: Dominated until the trade deadline with the Giants and then continued to dominate (though not quite to the same level) after a deadline trade to the Mets. It was easily the veteran righty’s career best season to date (1.98 ERA, 77.1 IP, 48 K/7 BB, 0.944 WHIP, MLB leading 81 appearances) but he’s been as reliable a bullpen option as one can hope for seven years now. No reason to think anything drops off significantly now even if 2025 was his peak.
SIGNED- Toronto Blue Jays, $37 million/3 years + 2029 $11 million vesting option, 12/12
34. Kenley Jansen- RP (R)
Age: 38
Career bWAR: 24.4
2025 bWAR: 2.4
2025 Team: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
Profile: Potential Hall of Fame closer posted his best season since 2021, saving 29 games with a 2.59 ERA over 59 innings with 57 K/19 BB, and a 0.949 WHIP, his lowest since 2017. At 476 career saves, he’s motivated to pass the 500 marker. Known quantity but not getting any younger.

35. Kazuma Okamoto- 3B/1B/OF
Age: 29
Career bWAR: N/A
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: Yomiuri Giants
Profile: Draws walks, doesn’t strike out much, and hits a decent amount of homers but it’s very difficult to gauge what that is going to look like in the United States. Has played the most at third base but spent plenty of time in the outfield and at first base as well so the versatility gives teams plenty of options in how to use him. A real wild card.

36. Devin Williams- RP (R)
Age: 31
Career bWAR: 8.7
2025 bWAR: -0.3
2025 Team: New York Yankees
Profile: Kind of a tough one to gauge because he was pretty bad, particularly early in the season, for the Yankees in 2025 but still struck out a huge number of batters (90 K/25 BB over 62 IP) and his 2.68 FIP compared to a 4.79 ERA says he got exceptionally unlucky. The under-the-hood numbers indicate that he’s basically the same pitcher he’s always been.

37. Raisel Iglesias- RP (R)
Age: 36
Career bWAR: 18.5
2025 bWAR: 1.3
2025 Team: Atlanta Braves
Profile: Long-time closer has had a quietly very good career. While his numbers regressed a little bit from his career-best 2024 season, he was still very solid as Braves posting a 3.21 ERA over 67.1 innings with a 3.31 FIP, 0.995 WHIP, and 73 K/16 BB to go with 29 saves. One of the more reliable arms on the market even as he’s getting up there in age.
RE-SIGNED- Atlanta Braves, $16 million/1 Year, 11/19
Ha-Seong Kim- SS
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 15.4
2025 bWAR: 0.4
2025 Team: Tampa Bay Rays + Atlanta Braves
Profile: Spent a lot of the season dealing with a shoulder injury. Kim managed to get into 48 games split evenly between Atlanta and Tampa and did what he’s done his whole career, showing a serviceable bat and strong glove work. Assuming the shoulder issues are behind him, he should see plenty of interest from teams in need of a shortstop.

On the downside, he dealt with some injuries in 2025, is on the wrong side of 30, and for a guy that strikes out as much as he does, he barely walks. The defense was previously excellent, even winning a Gold Glove in 2023, but regressed a bit in 2025. Korea is kind of like Double-A as far as skill level goes, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be able to make the jump, only that any statistics must be taken with a grain of salt.

136. Scott Barlow- RP (R)
Age: 33
Career bWAR: 7.9
2025 bWAR: 0.7
2025 Team: Cincinnati Reds
Profile: Durable middle reliever has regressed a bit since his 2021/22 peak as Kansas City closer. The problem has been a loss of control which reached its apex in 2025 as Barlow walked 45 batters in 68.1 innings. If he can turn that around, the ceiling gets higher.
SIGNED- A’s formerly of Oakland, $2 million/1 year, 2/6

Age: 36

2025 bWAR: -0.5
2025 Team: Texas Rangers
Profile: Somewhat surprisingly held a spot in the Rangers rotation for the whole season, continuing his streak of 30 or more starts a season since 2017 (2020 Covid season excluded). The ability to pitch every five days is without question his greatest strength. Weaknesses include pretty much everything else. His 4.40 ERA/1.365 WHIP is very fitting. He’s ideally no better than your #5 starter, and even then, he’s probably not your first choice. Virtually zero upside.
138. Joey Lucchesi- RP (L)
Age: 33
Career bWAR: 4.3
2025 bWAR: 0.4
2025 Team: San Francisco Giants
Profile: Former starter showed there’s something left with a solid season for the Giants- 38.1 IP, 3.76 ERA (3.97 FIP), 1.226 WHIP, 31 K/12 BB. No reason he can’t have another useful season as a southpaw middle reliever.

2025 bWAR: -1.2
2025 Team: Colorado Rockies
Profile: The stats are meaningless- let’s see what he can do outside of the hellscape that is pitching for the Rockies. Surprisingly good in his younger days. Results of late have been terrible. Tough to say how he’ll be now, but you have to assume he’ll be better than in Colorado.

141. Erick Fedde- SP (R)
Age: 33
Career bWAR: 4.8
2025 bWAR: -0.6
2025 Team: St. Louis Cardinals + Atlanta Braves + Milwaukee Brewers
Profile: After an excellent return to MLB after dominating the KBO, Fedde fell on hard times again in 2025 ultimately getting cut. Twice. He walked more batters and struck out less, always a recipe for regression. Nonetheless, he still ate plenty of innings (141) and looked a little bit better with his final team, the pitching savvy Brewers, so there is some hope he can turn it back around.

SIGNED- Arizona Diamondbacks, $2 million/1 year, 2/4
145. Jonathan Loaisiga- RP (R)
Age: 31
Career bWAR: 4.2
2025 bWAR: 0.2
2025 Team: New York Yankees
Profile: Injury-prone righty has had some good seasons in a setup role. Loaisiga’s health has year in, and year out been his bugaboo. 2021 was the only season in which he has exceeded 50 innings. It was a flexor strain that ended the Nicaragua native’s season in August. The year before, a similar injury required Tommy John Surgery in April. Damaged goods until proven otherwise.
SIGNED- Arizona Diamondbacks, MiLB Deal, 1/14
146. Alexis Diaz- RP (R)
Age: 29
Career bWAR: 4.7
2025 bWAR: -0.7
2025 Team: Cincinnati Reds + Los Angeles Dodgers + Atlanta Braves
Profile: The little brother of the 2025 classes #1 reliever free agent, Edwin, it wasn’t that long ago that Alexis Diaz was one of the top up-and-coming closers in the game, particularly after his All-Star 2023 campaign that saw him save 37 games. He struggled in 2024 and then the wheels completely fell off in 2025 to the point that he was released by both the Reds and the Dodgers, ending his season in Atlanta with a collective ERA of 8.15 over 17.2 innings. Didn’t miss many bats and when he did, it was because he was missing the strike zone entirely and walking them. Someone will try to fix him given his age and past success but probably shouldn’t be guaranteed anything.

2025 bWAR: 0.4
2025 Team: Chicago Cubs
Profile: The numbers were pretty but the Cubs still parted ways with Flexen, who was used mostly as a long reliever once in the majors, after some of their injured players began returning and no one picked him up. That should tell you plenty. Lack of strikeouts (24 over 43.2 IP) and a high FIP (5.04 to a 3.09 ERA) are both bad omens.

Profile: Just when it looked like his career was over, the old man put together a perfectly solid year with three different teams, ending his season with the Angels and a 3.42 ERA over 55.1 innings with 48 K/26 BB and a pair of saves. A 3.28 FIP even indicates he may have gotten a little unlucky. Just as likely to repeat as he is to finally implode for good.

When all was said and done, the Slippery Rock alum posted a 3.97 ERA (4.73 FIP) with 37 K/18 BB over 47.1 IP. Nothing spectacular but after two lost seasons, it’s hard to ask for much more than that.

Fell so far down that he was limited to just seven MLB games in 2025. It looks bad, but it’s worth noting that Baddoo is still relatively young, a solid defender, and hit well in Triple-A. Didn’t go well with either but Blackburn’s relatively low-FIP compared to his ERA (4.39 to 6.23 over 39 innings) indicates some bad luck and that he’s still a serviceable innings eater in the right situation. If he can stay healthy, of course. That’s a lot that has to go right for a pretty middling best-case scenario.

Age: 30
Career bWAR: 0.1
2025 bWAR: -0.7
2025 Team: Chicago White Sox
Profile: Emergency outfielder. Can do a little bit of everything, none of it particularly well.
SIGNED- Detroit Tigers, MiLB Deal, 1/23
256. Eloy Jimenez- OF
Age: 29
Career bWAR: 5.3
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: Tampa Bay Rays + Toronto Blue Jays
Profile: His rookie 2019 campaign where he hit 31 homers and his 2020 Silver Slugger feel like several lifetimes ago at this point. Jimenez didn’t even make it to the majors in 2025. Should be a candidate to play overseas if not now then very soon.
RE-SIGNED- Toronto Blue Jays, MiLB deal, 1/11
257. Kyle Wright- SP (R)
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 2.5
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: Kansas City Royals
Profile: Hasn’t pitched in the majors since 2023. Was outstanding in 2022, winning an MLB best 21 games and posting a solid 3.19 ERA over 180.1 innings with 174 K/53 BB. Hasn’t come anywhere close since in part due to a busted shoulder that led to him missing 2024 entirely. Pitched a little in 2025 in Triple-A but ended up on the IL with a balky oblique. Maybe his two years rehabbing will set him right. He’ll surely get the opportunity to show it.
SIGNED- Texas Rangers, MiLB deal, 2/10
258. Michael Grove- SP (R)
Age: 29
Career bWAR: -2.0
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: Los Angeles Dodgers
Profile: Former Dodgers second round draft pick has been in the majors since 2022 and has never lived up to the hype. He underwent shoulder labrum surgery during spring training in 2025 and missed the entire season before being unceremoniously non-tendered in November. If healthy, this an obvious MiLB deal for a team with a strong pitching lab.
259. Frankie Montas- SP (R)
Age: 33
Career bWAR: 6.9
2025 bWAR: -0.6
2025 Team: New York Mets
Profile: Signed a lucrative deal with the Mets after a mediocre but mostly healthy 2024. It went very badly. The Mets ended up releasing Montas despite still being on the hook for $17 million dollars. Will hope another team can rehabilitate him for the league minimum on a minor league deal while he continues to collect that sweet, sweet Cohen money.
260. Marcus Stroman- SP (RP)
Age: 35
Career bWAR: 21.9
2025 bWAR: -0.3
2025 Team: New York Yankees
Profile: Undersized righty was unceremoniously cut midseason by the Yankees. At one point a solid middle-of-the-rotation arm, subpar performance and acidic personality have put Stroman’s career on life support.
261. Ali Sanchez- C
Age: 29
Career bWAR: -1.0
2025 bWAR: -0.3
2025 Team: Toronto Blue Jays + Boston Red Sox
Profile: Glove-first third-stringer. Depth and not even of the 40-man variety.
SIGNED- New York Yankees, MiLB deal, 12/22
262. Tom Cosgrove- RP (L)
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 0.7

263. Jonah Bride- UT
Age: 30
Career bWAR: -0.6
2025 bWAR: -0.9
2025 Team: Miami Marlins + Minnesota Twins
Profile: Had a nice 2024. Flat out stunk in 2025. Versatility and the hope he can rediscover his form are currently Bride’s two best attributes.
SIGNED- Texas Rangers, MiLB deal, 11/25
264. Tim Mayza- RP (L)
Age: 34
Career bWAR: 3.1
2025 bWAR: 0.2

265. Joe Mantiply- RP (L)
Age: 35
Career bWAR: 0.3
2025 bWAR: -0.8
2025 Team: Arizona Diamondbacks
Profile: Lefty. Pulse. Yada yada yada. 2022 All-Star but man, was he bad in 2025.
266. Tommy Henry- RP (L)
Age: 28
Career bWAR: 0.3
2025 bWAR: 0.1
2025 Team: Arizona Diamondbacks
Profile: Only a small 6.2 IP sample size for the former Michigan Wolverine. Dreadful run in Triple-A. Might be time for Henry to transition to the bullpen full-time where he can pitch as an up-and-down LOOGY for the next decade.
RE-SIGNED- Arizona Diamondbacks, MiLB Deal, 12/1
267. Sean Guenther- RP (L)
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 0.1
2025 bWAR: -0.1
2025 Team: Detroit Tigers
Profile: In a world full of generic depth lefties, Guenther may be the most generic depth lefty of them all.
RE-SIGNED- Detroit Tigers, MiLB deal, 12/18
268. Cristian Pache- OF
Age: 27
Career bWAR: -1.3
2025 bWAR: N/A

SIGNED- New York Mets, MiLB deal, 12/15
269. Garrett Hampson- UT
Age: 31
Career bWAR: 1.4
2025 bWAR: -0.4
2025 Team: Arizona Diamondback + Cincinnati Reds + St. Louis Cardinals
Profile: Hampson stunk in stints with three separate teams. Used to be speedy but at this stage of the game his only particularly useful attribute is his versatility.
SIGNED- Cincinnati Reds, MiLB deal, 1/11
270. Tom Murphy- C
Age: 35
Career bWAR: 4.8
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: San Francisco Giants
Profile: Missed the entire 2025 season due to a herniated disk in his back. He’s a catcher who has hit well in the past as recently as 2023 but given his general propensity for injuries and age, there’s no guarantee he’s even physically able to play anymore.
271. Tayler Saucedo- RP (L)
Age: 32

273. Tyson Miller- RP (R)
Age: 30
Career bWAR: 0.7
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: N/A
Profile: Excellent 2024, nonexistent 2025. Such is the life of a fungible depth reliever.
SIGNED- Chicago White Sox, MiLB deal, 1/15
274. Derek Law- RP (R)
Age: 35
Career bWAR: 4.2
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: N/A
Profile: Had far and away the best season of his career in 2024 before missing the entire 2025 season with various arm injuries. If he’s healthy, he’s shown he can be very useful but that’s a big if as things currently stand.
SIGNED- Arizona Diamondbacks, MiLB deal, 1/29
275. Manuel Margot- OF
Age: 31
Career bWAR: 11.4
2025 bWAR: -0.1
2025 Team: Detroit Tigers
Profile: Margot profiles like a player ten years older. At this point, all he can really do is hit singles. Beyond that, there’s very little he has to offer.
276. Zach Penrod- RP (L)
Age: 28
Career bWAR: 0.1
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: Boston Red Sox + Los Angeles Dodgers
Profile: Indy league darling didn’t pitch in the big leagues at all in 2025 and spent most of his time hurt, but he is a lefty with an interesting story which means he will get an opportunity so long as he’s healthy.
SIGNED- Washington Nationals, MiLB deal, 1/20
277. Blake Sabol- C
Age: 28
Career bWAR: 0.2
2025 bWAR: -0.2
2025 Team: Boston Red Sox

SIGNED- Tampa Bay Rays, MiLB deal, 1/7
278. Elvis Peguero- RP (R)
Age: 29
Career bWAR: 0.1
2025 bWAR: -0.4
2025 Team: Milwaukee Brewers + Chicago White Sox
Profile: Rough season. Was pretty good in 2023 and 2024 so teams will see if he can’t find his form, but just based on his most recent record, Elvis may have left the building. The building being a career as a major league pitcher, in case you didn’t get the metaphor.
279. Bobby Dalbec- UT
Age: 30
Career bWAR: -0.8
2025 bWAR: 0.0
2025 Team: Chicago White Sox
Profile: Should strongly consider his options internationally given the total lack of MLB success since 2021. At least he’s versatile.

2025 bWAR: N/A

Age: 30
Career bWAR: N/A
2025 bWAR: N/A
2025 Team: N/A

283. Tanner Rainey- RP (R)
Age: 33
Career bWAR: -0.7
2025 bWAR: -0.6
2025 Team: Detroit Tigers + Pittsburgh Pirates
Profile: Fungible middle relief arm. Rainey got hammered in 2025 after struggling badly with his control and is getting kind of long in the tooth.
RE-SIGNED- Detroit Tigers, MiLB deal, 11/27
284. Connor Joe- 1B/OF
Age: 33
Career bWAR: 3.1
2025 bWAR: -0.7

285. Hunter Renfroe- OF
Age: 34
Career bWAR: 8.7
2025 bWAR: -1.5
2025 Team: Kansas City Royals
Profile: Might be the end of the road for the Padre’s 2013 first round pick after a disastrous season saw him cut by the Royals after 35 games. Not a bad run if this is it but he hasn’t been good since 2022.
286. Tyler Wade- UT
Age: 31

288. Lucas Sims- RP (R)
Age: 32
Career bWAR: 2.3
2025 bWAR: -0.9
2025 Team: Washington Nationals
Profile: Sims answered the age-old question of what happens when your stuff is overly hittable and you also can’t throw strikes consistently. Turns out, you end up with a 13.86 ERA. Yikes.
SIGNED- Chicago White Sox, MiLB deal, 1/30
289. Shelby Miller- RP (R)
Age: 35
Career bWAR: 10.3
2025 bWAR: 1.5
