Bruins winger A.J. Greer scores two goals, including game winner in overtime
Oskar Steen added a goal in the win over the Rangers
The Boston Bruin earned their first win of the preseason with a 3-2 victory over the Rangers at the T.D. Garden.
Bruins winger A.J. Greer had himself a big game scoring two goals, including the game winner in overtime.
The 26-year-old scored the Bruins first goal of the game. Greer who is fighting to make the Bruins roster as a potential fourth-line candidate tied the game in the second period.
Jack Studnicka, another player vying for a roster spot set up Greer. The game tying goal was short lived, the Rangers would score again and took a 2-1 lead into the third period.
At 6:40 mark, Oskar Steen took a beautiful pass from Joona Koppanen and slammed it home. The game remained tied until overtime. Greer would call game and send the Garden home happy.

The former Boston University standout was fired up following his game winner on Tuesday. When he was interviewed on the ice Greer opened with, “I’m in Boston, baby. Let’s go!”
