Bruins winger A.J. Greer drops the gloves with the Flyers Hayden Hodgson
The Bruins opened their preseason schedule against the Philadelphia Flyers. Boston dropped the contest 2-1, but despite the loss showed some physicality on the ice.
Former Boston University winger A.J. Green dropped the gloves and tangled with Hayden Hodgson.

The two traded blows back and forth, but Greer took the loss in the fight. Greer is trying to show new head coach Jim Montgomery he can be a productive fourth liner.
The 25-year-old signed with the Bruins back on July 13th, having spent last season with Devils. Greer’s deal was a two year pact, it’s worth $750,000 for the 2022-23 season and $775,000 for the 2023-24 season.
