Brayan Bello promoted to Boston; making MLB debut on Wednesday
Top pitching prospect called up to bigs
Just halfway into the season, the Boston Red Sox have promoted their top ranked pitching prospect Brayan Bello to the majors and he will make his big league debut for the club on Wednesday.
Katie Morrison has the news of the promotion first.

Bello has been on a tear all season long.
He started the season Double-A Portland where he posted an 4-2 record with a 1.60 ERA and struck out 42 through 33 and two thirds innings before being promoted to Triple-A Worcester.
Since being with Worcester, Bello has a 6-2 record with a 2.81 ERA and struck out 72 through 51 and one third innings of work.
Bello may only be a spot starter for Wednesday against Tampa Bay, but if he goes out and produces numbers like he has in the minors this season, look for this spot start to become a full time slot starter in the bigs for Boston.
