With over 1 billion cricket fans in that area, founder Kash Shaikh has brought America’s Pastime to innovate and grow the game.

Bartolo Colon returns to the mound at 50-years-old in Baseball United League debut

Former big league pitcher Bartolo Colon took the mound and made his debut for the Baseball United League, a new league founded in the Middle East and Asia. Colon pitched a perfect first inning against the West All-Stars, getting Robinson Cano to roll over on an 81-mph fastball to first baseman Jeffrey Marte.

The Baseball United League’s Inaugural Showcase is underway in Dubai. Former Red Sox third baseman and three-time World Series champion Pablo Sandoval has already made league history. With the score tied 2-2 between the East and West All-Stars, Sandoval came to the plate with two runners on in the fifth inning.
