'59 Topps Friday Cards 387-393: Hall of Famers Don Drysdale, Orlando Cepeda and Whitey Herzog
We built the iconic 1959 Topps baseball set, and in this series, we’re going through every card to talk about the players, teams and people who made up major league baseball in 1959. Today, we’ll cover cards 387 through 393 in the set.
This includes three Hall of Famers: Dodgers legend Don Drysdale, "The Baby Bull" Orlando Cepeda, and Whitey Herzog, who made Cooperstown based on his success as a manager in the 1970s and 1980s. Plus this week we cover Joe Nuxhall, who remains the youngest player to ever pitch in an MLB game.
